An authentic and charming city, where old habits and the centuries of history mingle with cultural entertainment and unique hospitality.

Lisbon

Its history is long, made of advances and setbacks between achievements and reconquests. The best is to go back to the founding of the city. For which , we suggest a visit to St Jorge Castle, on the biggest of the seven hills, that one day has designed the profile of the city. It is thought to have been on this point that has emerged the first settlement originating Lisbon.

If the history begins at the Castle, by its superb panoramic view, it is from there we can see the present and the future of the city. Leaving the castle, it is essential to pass through Graça’s viewpoint and by the Alfama and Mouraria neighbourhoods, marked by popular culture, traditional shops and dozens of Fado houses.

Walking down the hill, we walk through Lisbon’s downtown, rebuilt in 1755 by Marquês de Pombal, after the big earthquake. Stroll through Baixa, and discover its corners, the Pombaline style facades and enjoy some of the regional delicacies

And if the sun calls out, at a 30-minute distance, the beaches on the Estoril coast also wait for you.

To the most dreamers, we suggest a visit to the ancient palaces and gardens of Sintra, to learn about the stories of kings, queens and artists.
